US courts switching to Linux

The San Antonio Business Journal reports that VA-based PEC Solutions has been awarded a $9 M contract to migrate federal courts to Linux on Intel. Under the contract, PEC Solutions will provide professional services to provide the Linux platform at the Administrative Office in the U.S. Court's Washington D.C. offices, its national technology, training and support facility in San Antonio and the government's independent test facility in Phoenix.
