SuSE releases enhanced Linux Desktop

SuSE Linux is set to begin offering a new version of its Linux Desktop on April 14 according to this report from Ed Scannell at InfoWorld.

Enhanced security and a new version of KDE are getting top billing in this release. But the distribution hosts features and applications that ensure the end user has tools for all kinds of applications -- Scanner/OCR capabilties, the latest OpenOffice.org, wireless connectivity software, CD/DVD writing applications, and a high end video editing application are just few on the long list of additions.
