A working group of over 100 engineers met in Thailand to lay the foundation for a Asia-Pacific version of the Linux operating system reports Winston Chai of CNET Asia.
The group, aims to develop an open-source system to challenge the dominance of Microsoft on servers was first reported the Japanese daily Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
