| Crossover Office -- free for a day |
Oct. 28, 2008
Today (Oct. 28) only, Codeweavers is offering free downloads and registrations of its commercial implementation of WINE (WINE is not an emulator). Normally priced at upwards of $50, Crossover Office lets users install and run Windows software, including games, on the Linux desktop.
To register for the free download, visit CodeWeaver's website, here. To learn more about the event, and how it came to be, read Stephen J. Vaughan-Nichols' coverage, here. To learn more about Crossover Office, see our earlier coverage, here.
