Netcraft features an interview with Miguel de Icaza, co-founder of Gnome, Ximian and Mono projects. He discusses Novell's internal move to the Linux desktop that is scheduled to be completed by next year. De Icaza also discusses how Ximian plans to integrate into the Novell Linux vision which includes choice on the desktop. On the question of support for Gnome or KDE, he maintains that the company "cannot choose one desktop over the other," noting that both have followers.
