"It would be a true delight to be able to write of a new Linux distribution as a real breakthrough, an advance so clear and thorough that users of any operating system should drop whatever they're doing in a rush to get and install it. Failing that, it would be just dandy to say that a new distribution represents such an improvement over the last version that users of that distribution should order it immediately because it will make them happy. And it would be okay to write of a new distribution that at least justifies the upgrade."
