LG ships AMD-powered Linux desktop

LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd is now distributing an AMD-powered Linux desktop targeting the SoHo and corporate markets. The LG My PC DM-134A comes with the AMD Athlon XP 2000+, 128 MB DDR, a 40 GB HD and a 52x CD ROM drive. The system comes along with a Turbolinux 8 CD and is priced at Rs 32,500 (approx.US $700).

LG also offers two other computers with Linux in their newly launched "MY PC" line of desktop computers, both with Intel P4 processors.
