| GrokDoc launches community usability study |
Jun. 14, 2004
Pamela "PJ" Jones of GrokLaw has launched GrokDoc, an online wiki to collect data in a usability study of GNU/Linux newbies. The interactive site asks Linux users to observe a "Windows-using friend or family member" as they try any GNU/Linux distro, and to supply feedback on the process.
Areas of data collection include email, letter writing and printing, surfing the web, and firewall. The site aims to apply free and open source ideas to the documentation process.
You can contribute to the online wiki here.
