| SuSE 8.2 earns LSB certification, ships next month |

SuSE has announced their next release, 8.2, has achieved LSB certification in advance of the April general release.
SuSE 8.2's release date is set for next month and the software ships with KDE 3.1. Features include tabbed browsing, support for synch with Exchange servers, a new administration tool called "desktop sharing" which allows remote control desktops, and new security features. Advanced multimedia capabilities are also included as CD/DVD writing applications and professional vido editing software are part of the package.
