| Ohio Linux Fest lives on through podcasts |
Oct. 04, 2006
The Linux Link Tech Show was in attendance at this year's Ohio Linux Fest 2006 this past weekend in Columbus, Ohio, and is offering podcasts of interviews with several of the keynote speakers.
The Ohio LinuxFest, held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, featured 19 presentations by noted Linux experts such as Jon 'maddog' Hall, Jeff Waugh, Chris DiBona, Jay Pipes, Michael Johnson, and Jorge Castro -- as well as a guest appearance by live penguins from the Columbus Zoo. As part of its coverage, the Linux Link Tech show folks conducted interviews with Hall, Waugh, Joe Born and Ted Haeger.
Hall, executive director of Linux International, delivered the closing keynote on "The Next Steps" for free and open source software. Waugh, director of the GNOME foundation and winner of the Google/O'Reilly Open Source Award for Best Evangelist, discussed "Linux for Human Beings."
You can listen to those interviews free of charge via .mp3 or .ogg formats (those are direct links to the media files).
