At PC Magazine, John Dvorak discusses IBM's Linux desktop OS. Referred to as "Blue Linux," Dvorak admits to having "friends who have seen it" and assures readers it "not only exists, but is being used by large numbers of IBMers." Why is the Linux desktop a idea whose time has come? Dvorak points to dominance by few vendors who have set pricing higher than hardware.
