| New conference to focus on WINE |

Lindows.com has announced that they are hosting the first conference dedicated to WINE, called wineconf 2002, in San Diego, CA March 15-16. The agenda and speakers will be the members of the WINE community. It will be a two-day event on Friday and Saturday where new ideas can be shared, new connections made, and attendees can hear from the best and brightest pushing the WINE initiative forward. wineconf attendance is open to all who wish to attend; however, only a moderate sized crowd is expected given the highly technical focus.
