Desktop Linux Consortium prepares launch, invites public comment

The Desktop Linux Consortium (DLC) began a public comment and review period of the organization's charter and corporate structure.

The DLC aims to provide marketing and support to promote and drive the improvement of Linux for desktop users. Interested parties, DLC formation committee members, and the general public are invited to participate in the review, which is scheduled to last for three weeks, ending on 11 August, 2003.
