Bill Husted figured he would review Linux when it hit Walmart. Now that has happened, here is Husted's review for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution . . .
" . . . if you head over to your local Wal-Mart, you can find a computer with Linux installed. You can buy that computer for $199. If your local store doesn't have it, ask for the Microtel Sysmar710 or order it on the Web from WalMart.com . . . "
"The Wal-Mart machine isn't your only Linux option. There are other versions of Linux, also easy to use, that can be downloaded for little money or even for free. Head to www.linux.org to learn more. Or you can install Lindows on a PC you already own (read about Lindows at www.lindows.com). Macintosh owners can use OS X, a Unix operating system that offers the stability of Linux and the ease of use of Lindows . . . "
