Antrix Angler offers a guest editorial examining the state of Desktop Linux at TuxReports. While Angler acknowledges the strides that the industry has made in reaching the end user market, he also makes some suggestions.

Angeler issues a call to companies "like Redhat, consortiums like the Desktop Linux Consortium and the various LUGs" to increasingly ensure that manufacturers support Linux as a matter of rule, rather than an 'afterthought'.
