Galeon project releases Version 1.0 web browser

The Galeon project has just released Galeon Version 1.0, the first non-beta release of the popular web browser based on the Gecko engine of the Mozilla project. According to the news on the Galleon website, "to install Galeon you will need Gnome and Mozilla. The current version of Galeon has been tested with Gnome 1.4 and Mozilla 0.9.6. Other versions may or may not work. Mozilla versions older than 0.9.6 are only supported by galeon releases 0.12.3 and older."

The new version may be downloaded here. Binaries are currently only available for RH 6.x/7.x (x86) and Slackware.
