| Red Hat teams with gov't technology solutions provider to drive public sector sales |

DLT Solutions, Inc. was named as the government technology solutions partner for Red Hat as the Linux company pushes into the public sector. The Raleigh-based company has said that government sales is a key focus in 2004.
DLT, a sales partner for Red Hat since 2000, was selected for this key role based on its strong performance selling Red Hat Linux products to the government market. They will lead Red Hat sales and marketing efforts in federal, state, and local government sectors.
Red Hat recently announced that Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 had been certified for the Common Criteria Scheme.
The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Defense has selected the Linux operating system for computer security research. Other government agencies in state and local government are also looking at Linux for cost savings. .
