Elx Linux "PRE-I release candidate-II" available for download

This announcement has recently appeared on the Elx Linux website . . .

Dear All,

We are now uploading the ELX PRE-I release candidate-II. CD2 is already uploaded but because of md5 checksum error found in CD1 after fully uploading it, we need to upload it again. We appologize for the delay. We will put it for download as soon as CD1 is properly uploaded. We thank you all for your patience.

Release candidate-II of ELX has the following additional features . . .

Installation:
  • Resolution setting at the time of installation.
  • SCSI & Multi disk support
  • Improved partitioning utility
  • Enhanced hardware support
Main Environment:
  • Reported bugs resolved
  • Upgraded version (0.91) of webmin with ELX patch.
  • Latest version of CUPS (v1.1.12) for enhanced printer support
  • Media mounting bugs resolved
  • New utility which auto-mounts your windows partitions in familiar windows naming style c,d,e, etc
  • New application for DVD etc
