| Linare releases Linux desktop OS |

Linare has announced they will release their desktop Linux-based OS this week. The release will offer customers "everything needed in a typical office environment," and is available for just US $20 with 24 hour technical support, according to a statement.
Linare Linux is based on KDE and includes a full Internet suite with a GAIM messenger and Mozilla. The software supports Real Player and includes add-ons for playing digital audio, sending instant messages, burning CDs, videoconferencing, and synchronizing data filed on handheld computers.
