Previously available on Windows and Mac, Yuuguu ("fusion" in Japanese) enables "secure screen sharing, instant messaging, and the ability to work on the same document together in real time," says the Liverpool-based company. Billed as a way for customers to reduce their carbon footprint by replacing unnecessary travel, Yuuguu is said to be used for remote team working, online presentations, remote support, and project management. An enterprise version is in the works, says the company.
Yuuguu features are said to include:- Web conferencing with up to 30 people
- Screen and audio sharing
- Instant messaging
- Global conference calling (landline based)
- Ability to see when contacts are online
- 128-bit SSL encryption end to end.
- Automatic updates

The Ubuntu, Fedora and SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 versions of Yuuguu are freely downloadable now, here.
