"We are constantly being asked when the Linux desktop will be ready for enterprise use, and my answer is, 'Now?!'" says Xandros CEO, Andreas Typaldos, announcing the release this week of Xandros Desktop OS Version 3 Business Edition (Xandros Business Desktop) -- a "complete Windows desktop replacement."
Xandros Business Desktop boasts "full compatibility" with Windows 2003 servers, allowing "seamless integration" of Linux desktops into a Windows-centric or heterogenous environment, complete with logon scripts and group policy profiles.

Xandros Business Desktop is available now for $129.99 USD in retail stores and from the Xandros web site. Also, for a limited time, Xandros will send a free, licensed copy of Xandros Business Desktop to qualified enterprises for evaluation purposes.
