| Red Hat, Sun enter distribution agreement |

Sun Microsystems has entered into a global alliance to distribute Red Hat's Linux operating system, and to broaden the use of each other's technologies in the volume server marketplace, according to a joint press release today.
Under the agreement, Red Hat will distribute Sun's Java Virtual Machine with copies of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Sun will sell and support all x86 versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, as well as ensure its Sun ONE products available on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
