The Seattle Times' Personal Technology column compares Xandros and Lindows desktop distributions. The article notes that " . . . Linux is more 'ready to run' than ever, with far less worry than Windows over viruses and operating-system meltdowns" and offers a great chart showing how far open source Linux on the desktop has come in just one year.
