| New website focuses on home Linux users |
Oct. 24, 2005
A new website aimed at home Linux users has launched. HomeDistro.com claims PCs in the home represent "70 percent of the desktop market and should not be ignored by developers and remaster geeks."
The site says it plans to review Linux distributions and rank them for home PC use. In addition, the site will offer helpful tips, package suggestions, a discussion forum, and a "really fun feature called Fantasy distro." The latter will let users build their fantasy Linux distribution online.
