Healthcare solutions provider teams with Novell Linux
Apr. 15, 2004

Arizona-based Carefx Corporation today announced a strategic deal with Linux software provider Novell that aims to help healthcare organizations simplify and improve caregivers' access to clinical information, according to a company statement. Novell teams their 'single sign-on' Linux platform with Carefx's standards-based healthcare solution.

Carefx's Fusionfx Context Manager and Fusionfx Context Channel provide Health Level Seven (HL-7) CCOW standards, the specification for Web-based technologies to synchronize disparate applications on the desktop and other devices. The combined solution addresses cost containment, productivity, security, and regulatory compliance, says Carefx.
