| Red Flag Linux Desktop in English still to come |

An IDGNews interview with China's Red Flag Linux Acting CEO Chris Zho reveals the company's new focus on the enterprise and on its server business. Over the past few months the state-sponsored Linux software maker has experienced an uptake in Chinese industry, Zho says, with interest from government, education, telecommunications, and financial sectors. The Red Flag interim chief talks about the new Asian standard Linux -- Asianux -- and says the English version of the Red Flag desktop is due out soon.
Oracle, AMD, Dell, HP, Langchao, NEC, and Sun, have all said they will certify their products and support the adoption of Asianux as a Linux standard in Asia.
