Lycoris offers Compaq laptops with Linux preloaded

Redmond, WA --(press release excerpt) -- Lycoris has announced the availabilty of Compaq laptops pre-loaded with Desktop/LX. The systems provide a 30 day limited warranty from Compaq and Lycoris provides 60 days of e-mail support for the software. For a limited time, the entire package is available for $729.99.

Earlier this month, Lycoris began offering HP PCs preloaded with Desktop/LX.
