This interesting review of SuSE 7.3 at PCLinuxOnline is from the perspective of a former Mandrake 8.1 user. Tyson J. Grubb writes . . .
"Well, folks, I just did it. I switched from Mandrake 8.1 to SuSE 7.3 Personal (I don't buy the full monty of a diistro the first time around, I didn't do it for Mandrake). Right now I can only give initial impression, as I'm still learning the new distro -- coming from a RedHat / Mandrake backgorund, things are a wee bit different . . ."
"All in all, I am VERY pleased with SuSE. It's stable, rock solid, and I haven't noticed a speed decrease in going from 568-optomized code to 386-optomized code. RealPlayer and Flash work out of the box, things I never could get working manually. And there's tons of other proggies I haven't yet explored . . ."
