| Xandros seeks beta testers to polish translations |

Xandros Inc. is taking steps to expand beyond the English-speaking world to support continental Europeans in their native tongues -- or at least those who speak German and French. Still in beta, the translations require "language and locale specific feedback" before they can be released.
Xandros tempts its "European friends" to join the French and/or German Xandros Desktop OS beta projects with the following perks:- Early access to products
- Free technical support throughout the beta test period
- A complimentary, licensed version of Xandros Desktop OS -- praised as easy-to-use and a Windows replacement -- at completion of the beta test process
- The ability to "submit enhancement requests prior to release" and "influence the final product," by virtue of being a part of the development process
