European IT vendor offers KDE-related solutions to customers
Jun. 03, 2004

European IT solutions and services provider Bull has announced that their Netherlands-based team will be providing professional services and solutions around the KDE environment for Linux.

Bull Netherlands says that through this program they will be addressing customers facing the question of how they can provide for the implementation, administration, and maintenance of Linux desktops for limited IT budgets. Bull will be providing professional support for migrating to Linux systems with a KDE desktop.

The company is selling desktop Linux solutions along side their server offerings. The company says that by using KDE, businesses, government departments, and other organizations can escape from the enormous licensing costs that business software often requires.

With this program, Bull reinforces its commitment to Linux and open source. The company has a long proven record of contributions toward Linux and Open Source middleware, and Bull's community center offers more details.
