Gentoo launches gaming technology initiative

Gentoo has announced the creation of Gentoo Games, Inc. Teaming up with Super Computer, Inc., Gentoo created the new gaming-centric technology program to deliver Linux-based game technologies.

As part of the initiative's kick off, a full version of the very popular (Linux exclusive) America's Army military combat simulation is available on a self-booting Gentoo GameCD.

Note: The CD includes the full version of the America's Army game and requires an NVIDIA or recent ATI (Radeon 8500 or higher) graphics card.
