| Lycoris' Tablet PC reviewed |

The November 2003 issue of PCWorld reviews Desktop Evolution's $1900 De-Tablet PC with Lycoris' Linux-based tablet edition software. According to the article, Lycoris made "three tablet-specific adjustments" to the operating system including a virtual keyboard, battery meter, and enhanced touch-screen capabilities. The review gives Lycoris' Desktop/LX Tablet Edition kudos for both easy configuration and usability, but remarks that additional software is required to make this device a competitor in the Tablet PC market. Lycoris has already promised that handwriting recognition software and the ability to accomodate the display in portrait mode is part of the next release.
