Singapore-based Tomahawk Computers Ltd. has released an updated version (version 1.1.1) of its Tomahawk Desktop operating system, featuring a fully automated Windows Dual Boot, lead developer Sagara Wijetunga told DesktopLinux.com via email June 12.
The distro uses a 2.6.11.9 Linux kernel and features Intel Centrino wireless technology, Zeroconf, high-definition audio and video playback, VoIP, Bluetooth, Firewire, and iPod access.
Other features include a /home/common/ folder to share files between desktop users and with additional networking software, Wijetunga said.
Tomahawk 1.1.1 also features fully automated optional participation to its BitTorrent tracker, in order to share the evaluation version via BitTorrent.

Tomahawk has a built-in firewall and includes a full multimedia suite that features high-definition sound and video, MP3, Ogg, VCD, DVD, digital radios, Podcasts, and others.
