Extensions sought
"Our most important feature is improved extensions management," spokesman Louis Suarez-Potts said in the release announcement.
"Developers everywhere are invited to write extensions. To learn more, visit our Extensions Project site."
Happy birthday, OO.o!
OpenOffice.org turned six years old on Oct. 13, Suarez-Potts noted.
"Tens of millions of people use the application and governments throughout the world are mandating it and its file format (OpenDocument or ODF). Our thanks to you, the community of users and developers!" he added.
