| LindowsOS gets deluxe font collection |

Bitstream announced today that Lindows.com, Inc. has licensed a core set of fonts for LindowsOS. The license agreement includes a set of more than 50 high-quality display and text fonts from Bitstream's extensive library.

Bitstream developed a set of delta-hinted fonts for Linux. "Delta hinting" involves fine-tuning fonts so that they are optimized for online viewing even at small point sizes on low-resolution devices.
The fonts are part of the LindowsOS 3.0 Membership Edition, available for $129 – which includes not only the font collection from Bitstream but also StarOffice and other value-added programs that are accessible from the Lindows.com's Click-N-Run Warehouse.
