In an interview at CRN, Sun's Jonathan Schwartz offers his company's strategy to roll out the MadHatter Linux desktop beyond the data center. Says Schwartz, "apps would we ship that are necessary for us to qualify in the call center, because that's the beach head. If you can get into the call center, you can get into the billing center . . . If you can get into the billing center, you can get into the accountants. If you can get into the accountants you can get into the knowledge workers. And we've got to work our way through the chain . . ."
