LinuxToday is reporting that StarOffice 5.2 is to be removed from the Sun website according to a posted notice . . .
"With the introduction and availability of StarOffice 6.0 Office Suite, the StarOffice 5.2 download product will be removed on Wednesday May 29, 2002."
"Customers have until midnight Wednesday May 29, 2002, to download at no-charge, StarOffice 5.2 software."
"Note that the StarOffice 5.2 packaged product will still be available, after May 29, from Sun at $39.95 (StarOffice 5.2 Deluxe packaged product) or $9.95 (StarOffice 5.2 Slim Kit)."
