On the heels of the December release of Redmond Linux comes 'build 44', which is now available for download. The main changes are as follows . . . - updated padd, pup to not update pkg list for src rpms.
- added kdevelop, kdesvs
- updated gphoto
- new default web site icons
- updated cups to 1.1.12
- removed /srv from samba rpms
- updated ogg, vorbis tools to 1.0rc2
- minor kaddressbook updates
- added cdrdao
- updated xine, changed to oss sound
- rebuilt koncd
- updated usb utils
- updated sane to 1.0.6
- added floppy howto
- updated koffice to 1.1.1
- updated gimp to 1.2.2, gimp-print to 1.2
- fixed efax lock issue
- added pctel modem drivers
- added linux-wlan-ng prism2 drivers
- squelched some depmod warnings
- built X with shared Xinerama, xft TrueType support
- fixed kernel acpi issue
- added fax viewer
- made vfat partitions r/w
- made ntfs partitions readable by all users
