Mozilla 1.0 security update available
Sep. 20, 2002

From a security update mailing from Ximian . . .

Mozilla 1.0 has a number of security problems which were discovered after the release. These problems range from DOS attacks to possible privacy violations to execution of possibly malicious code on your machine.

The Mozilla Project has released Mozilla 1.0.1 and recommends that all users upgrade. Additionally, a new security advisory concerning a possible privacy leak has been released. Please upgrade to Ximian's Mozilla 1.0.1 packages to fix all of these problems.

Download the security patch here.
