Ubuntu and its cousins, Kubuntu and Edubuntu, have been getting a lot of attention lately, and deservedly so. Even though it has only been on the scene for about a year, Ubuntu was recently named "best new distro" at LinuxWorld London, and the distro's reviews have been almost universally positive.
