| A sneak peek at KDE 3.5 |
Jun. 09, 2005
Open Source community spectator Matt Proud has been closely following the latest changes in the development of the K Desktop Environment version 3.5. Noticing a dearth of information on the subject, Proud has compiled an illustrated sneak peek at KDE 3.5 for the rest of us.
"Since KDE migrated [from CVS] to Subversion, I have been creating semi-weekly development builds in the hopes of finding bugs to report," Proud writes in a post to KDE.News, KDE's official news site. "Notable new features include Konqueror's new adblocking mechanism and Kicker's new applet manager."
Proud also gives the public a gander at the latest developments in Trolltech's Qt4 -- the widget library used by KDE, Opera, and the Zaurus Linux handheld, among others.
Take a peak at KDE 3.5 (and Qt4) at Matt Proud's weblog.
