iPod plugin for Linux

Tex9, a small software company based in San Francisco, has announced a public beta of its xtunes plugin that provides full iPod support for Linux users.

Xtunes is Tex9's iTunes clone for Linux and allows simple drag-and-drop of songs and playlists to an iPod.

Requirements:

Apple iPod
Linux-supported firewire controller
xtunes

The company has stated that it will be available 'soon'.
