May 12, 2005
Fedora Core 4 is almost here! In a message to the Fedora mailing list earlier this week, the Fedora Project's Bill Nottingham announced that Fedora Core 4 Test 3, "currently scheduled to be the final test release before Fedora Core 4," is now available.
The Fedora Project's Fedora Core distribution is a general purpose, completely open source operating system. Fedora Core 4 Test 3 runs on x86, x86-64, and PPC architectures, and includes "various bugfixes, updated translations, and package updates," according to Nottingham's message.
Fedora Core 4 Test 3 is now available for download from Red Hat and a number of mirrors.
