Guardian Digital announced the next generation of EnGarde Secure Linux Community Edition. The release combines popular open source applications with security expertise from Guardian Digital. EnGarde is a comprehensive platform for developing a secure Internet presence under Linux.
It can be used as a Web, DNS, e-mail, database, and general Internet server where security is a primary concern. Intrusion detection, gateway firewall, and complete Web-management make EnGarde a cost-effective and secure solution. No Linux administration skills required.
EnGarde Community Edition is now available for download from engardelinux.org and includes a free 30-day subscription to the Guardian Digital Secure Network to obtain system and security updates. An annual subscription to the GDSN is available for $229 per year and includes thirty days of email installation and configuration support.
