Feb. 23, 2004
MedPlus says their electronic patient record solution is now certified for Linux. Chartmaxx software manages patient records and charts with cost-effective system configurations that target small and mid- sized healthcare organizations. The software enables electronic health record management throughout a medical facility.
ChartMaxx is described by MedPlus as an enterprise-wide electronic patient record solution, which enables organizations to create and manage an electronic repository comprised of clinical, financial and administrative information. Authorized users gain immediate concurrent access to information across the enterprise. ChartMaxx for Linux can be scaled to fit the operational and business needs of hospitals ranging from 50 to 250 beds.
The software has been selected by hospitals and multi-care facilities in North America to improve turnaround time for chart completion, electronic patient registration, remote coding, automated release of information, and maximum electronic information access, according to MedPlus. The company is demonstrating the software at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida today through Thursday, February 26.
