| NTT joins OSDL |

The Open Source Development Labs (OSDL) announced that NTT Data Intellilink is their newest member. NTT Data Intellilink is a subsidiary of NTT Data and is one of the largest systems integrators in Japan.
"NTT Data Intellilink supports open source-based system development and deployment and we recognize that adoption of open source software for the enterprise and carrier system is indispensable in the current and future systems integration and carrier business," said Dr. Kou Miyake, President and CEO of NTT Data Intellilink Corp in a statement.
The OSDL was founded in 2000. Its members currently include Alcatel, Cisco, Computer Associates, Dell, Ericsson, Force Computers, Fujitsu, HP, Hitachi, IBM, Intel, Linuxcare, Miracle Linux Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric, MontaVista Software, NEC Corporation, Nokia, Red Hat, SuSE, Toshiba, and VA Software.
Recently, OSDL announced that Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux, joined the consortium as the first OSDL Fellow.
