| Linux-powered Nokia Internet tablet ships |

Nokia has begun shipping its much-anticipated 770 Internet Tablet through a direct-sales website in Europe, LinuxDevices.com reports.
The 770, Nokia's first consumer product based on Linux, is a small (5.5 x 3.1 x 0.7 in.) tablet with an 800 x 600 touch-screen and integrated WiFi and Bluetooth wireless. Bundled software includes: web browser, email client, Internet radio, news reader, media players, image viewer, file manager, search, calculator, world clock, PDF-viewer, notes, sketch, games.
The 770 had been expected to ship in September, at prices around $350, but was delayed.
