| Moneydance financial manager software now available for Linux |
Mar. 28, 2003
Unveiled today, Moneydance 2003 is a new financial tool available for Linux. Moneydance keeps all of your financial information safe, and organized. It allows you to bank and pay bills online.
Users can easily manage multiple budgets as well as schedule recurring or future transactions. A 'Net Worth' graph allows you to view the total value of all of your accounts over time. A stock portfolio profile is also integrated in the program.
Moneydance is international and includes built-in support for multiple currencies -- and even allows you to download up-to-date exchange rates from the Internet.
The software is based on standard technologies such as OFX, QIF, SSL/TLS, Java, and XML to ensure compatibility with other programs. An open API and Extension Developer Kit allows third parties to integrate their services with Moneydance.
