- Hancom Office 2.0.1 Ships -- We are pleased to announce that Hancom Office 2.0.1 shipped today. This first maintenance release includes numerous bug-fixes, improved importing of Microsoft Office documents, several new features and the first non-beta release of Hancom Word 6.0. Free updates are available for all registered users of Hancom Office, including users of Hancom Office 1.2, 1.5 and 2.0. Get the updated version by running the Hancom Update Wizard or from the download section of our web site. The download section also contains instructions on how to use the Update Wizard.
- Sharps Launches Zaurus SL-5500 with Hancom Mobile Office -- On April 3, Sharp launched the Zaurus SL-5500, a powerful, user-friendly Linux-based PDA with an innovative design that's commanded a lot of attention. The Zaurus SL-5500 also includes Hancom Mobile Office, the first Linux-based office productivity suite for a PDA. Hancom Mobile Office includes basic versions of our word processor and spreadsheet and the first release of a presentation viewer. - Hancom Office Professional Edition On Hold -- Today, we also announced that the release of Hancom Office Professional edition has been indefinitely postponed. We still plan to launch a Professional edition but have not decided on a new ship date and on which applications to include in this bundle. We have announced a series of transition measures to assist people who were using the beta version of this product or who pre-purchased this product.
