Hong Kong -- (press release excerpt) -- ShaoLin Microsystems Limited and SuSE Linux announced today a strategic technology partnership. As part of the partnership, ShaoLin will incorporate SuSE Linux to enhance the capabilities of the Linux desktop deployment and management for enterprise.
ShaoLin Aptus will be enhanced to support SuSE Linux. The new edition of ShaoLin Aptus will also support for SuSE Linux 8.1. The result is the ShaoLin Aptus, an enhanced middleware offering that will meet the needs of a broader market. However, it also provides SuSE's customers with a completely unique solution which combines advanced Linux desktop deployment and management solution with the leading SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), and SuSE Linux 8.1.
